(was 20 ILCS 5/5.14) Sec. 5-105. Direction, supervision, and control of officers. Each officer named in the Sections following Section 5-100 and preceding Section 5-200 shall, except as otherwise provided in the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois, be under the direction, supervision, and control of the director or secretary of the officer's respective department and shall perform the duties prescribed by the director or secretary.
