(was 20 ILCS 5/18) Sec. 5-635. Department office hours. Each department shall be open for the transaction of public business at least from 8:30 in the morning until 5:00 in the evening of each day except Saturdays, Sundays, and days that may hereafter be declared by the Governor to be holidays for State employees.
