(was 20 ILCS 5/9.15) Sec. 5-345. In the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Secretary of Financial and Professional Regulation shall receive an annual salary of $195,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Secretary shall receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly. For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Director of Financial Institutions, the Director of Professional Regulation, the Director of Banking, and the Director of Real Estate shall each receive an annual salary of $180,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher.
