(was 20 ILCS 5/9.11a) Sec. 5-335. In the Department of Corrections. For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Director of Corrections shall receive an annual salary of $200,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Director shall receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly. For terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Assistant Director of Corrections shall receive an annual salary of $170,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Assistant Director shall receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint R
