§ 6-18 — Meeting dates - Place - Quorum

The regional board of school trustees shall hold a regular meeting in July, October, January and April. With appropriate public notice, the board may cancel its regular quarterly meeting if no issues for action have been presented to the board and it has no pending business. All regular meetings of the board shall be held at the office of the regional superintendent. Special meetings may be called by the president or by 4 members of the board by giving a 48-hour written notice of the meeting stating the time and place of the meeting and the purpose thereof. Public notice of meetings must also be given as prescribed in Sections 2.02 and 2.03 of the Open Meetings Act. A majority of the members elected to the board shall constitute a quorum.
