§ 54-5823 — REFUSAL, REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF LICENSE, CERTIFICATE OR REGISTRATION — SANCTIONS

Idaho·Title 54 PROFESSIONS, VOCATIONS, AND BUSINESSES·Ch. 58 BARBER AND COSMETOLOGY SERVICES ACT

The board may refuse to issue or renew a license, certificate or registration, may suspend or revoke a license, certificate or registration, or may otherwise sanction a licensee, certificant or registrant or impose education, training or supervision on a licensee, certificant or registrant if the licensee, certificant or registrant:

(1)Is convicted of a felony as evidenced by a certified copy of the record of the court of conviction;
(2)Commits malpractice or is otherwise professionally incompetent;
(3)Knowingly practices the licensee’s, certificant’s or registrant’s occupation while having an infectious or contagious disease, except as approved by a physician licensed under chapter 18, title 54, Idaho Code;
(4)Advertises by means of knowingly false or deceptive statements;
(5)Is habi
