§ 54-5214 — REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE — DISPLAY

(1)Upon receipt of a duly completed application, together with the registration fee, and after such verification process as the board may from time to time deem appropriate by rule, a certificate of registration and a wallet-sized card showing the registrant’s name and showing a registration number shall be issued, commencing on the date of issue and continuing in effect for a period of not less than one (1) year nor more than five (5) years, as determined by the board. Application for renewal of registration shall be filed on or before thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date. The board shall issue a certificate of registration to an applicant upon the applicant’s compliance with the registration requirements of this chapter. Certificates shall not be assignable nor transferable.
