(1)There is hereby created in the division of occupational and professional licenses the occupational therapy licensure board of Idaho.
(2)The occupational therapy licensure board of Idaho shall consist of five (5) members who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the governor, three (3) of whom shall be occupational therapists, one (1) of whom shall be an occupational therapy assistant, and one (1) of whom shall be a member of the public with an interest in the rights of consumers of occupational therapy services. All members of the board shall be residents of Idaho. The governor may consider recommendations for appointment to the board from the association and from any individual residing in this state.
