Text
This chapter is enacted as an exercise of the power of the state to promote the public health, safety and welfare by safeguarding the people and animals of this state by establishing and enforcing professional standards in the licensure and regulation of veterinary health professionals. It is hereby declared that the right to practice veterinary medicine is a privilege conferred by legislative grant to persons possessed of the personal and professional qualifications specified in this chapter.
