Text
(1)Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any health professional licensed or registered under this title acting in good faith and exercising reasonable care may prescribe, distribute, dispense, and administer an emergency medication to any person or entity. Any person who prescribes, distributes, dispenses, or administers an emergency medication pursuant to this subsection shall not be liable in a civil or administrative action or subject to criminal prosecution for such acts.
(2)Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any person acting in good faith and exercising reasonable care may distribute or dispense emergency medication to any person or entity and may administer emergency medication to any person who appears to be experiencing anaphylaxis or an opiate-related overdose.
