Judgments, money, bank bills, and other things in action may be levied upon by the officer under an attachment in the same manner as levies are made under execution, except that noticeofsuchlevyshallbegivenasinleviesbyattachment, andafterjudgmentsuchproperty shall be sold, appropriated, or transferred as provided for in the chapter on executions.
