Thesheriffshallinallcasesattachtheamountofpropertydirected, ifsufficient, notexempt
from execution, is found in the sheriff’s county, giving that in which the defendant has a legal
and unquestionable title a preference over that in which the defendant’s title is doubtful or
only equitable.
