This chapter does not apply to a bank chartered under chapter 524 or a bank chartered
under federal law which has its principal place of business located in this state, a savings
and loan association chartered under federal law which has its principal place of business
located in this state, a credit union chartered under chapter 533 or a credit union chartered
underfederallawwhichhasitsprincipalplaceofbusinesslocatedinthisstate, regulatedloan
companies licensed under chapter 536, or industrial loan companies licensed under chapter
536A.
