Text
1.The commission shall adopt rules to implement this chapter.
2.When groundwater standards are proposed by the commission, all available
information to develop the standards shall be considered, including federal regulations and
all relevant information gathered from other sources. A public hearing shall be held in each
congressional district prior to the submittal of a report on standards to the general assembly.
This report on how groundwater standards may be a part of a groundwater protection
program shall be submitted by the department to the general assembly for its consideration
by January 1, 1989.
