Text
A city council may implement a diminution of employees in a classification or grade under
civil service. Such a diminution shall be carried out in accordance with any procedures
provided in a collective bargaining agreement to which a bargaining unit that has at least
thirty percent of members who are public safety employees as defined in section 20.3 is a
party, if applicable.
