Text
A person under twelve years of age shall not operate an all-terrain vehicle, including an off-road motorcycle, on a designated riding area or designated riding trail or on public land or public ice unless one of the following applies:
1.The person is taking a prescribed education training course and the operation is under
the direct supervision of a certified all-terrain vehicle education instructor.
2.The operation is under the direct supervision of a responsible parent or guardian of
at least eighteen years of age who is experienced in all-terrain vehicle operation or off-road
motorcycle operation and who possesses a valid driver’s license as defined in section 321.1.
