Text
If, at such election, a majority of the legal voters present and voting by ballot thereon shall
authorize the board of directors of said school district to loan textbooks to the pupils free of
charge, then the board shall procure such books as shall be needed, in the manner provided
by law for the purchase of textbooks, and loan them to the pupils.
