Text

1.A livestock health advisory council is created to support research of livestock diseases conducted by the college of veterinary medicine.
2.The council shall consist of all of the following:
a.Three cattle producers appointed by the Iowa cattlemen’s association, one of whom shallserveaninitialtermofoneyear, andoneofwhomshallserveaninitialtermoftwoyears.
b.ThreeswineproducersappointedbytheIowaporkproducersassociation, oneofwhom shall serve an initial term of one year.
c.OnesheepproducerappointedbytheIowasheepproducersassociationwhoshallserve an initial term of one year.
d.One poultry producer appointed by the north central poultry association who shall serve an initial term of two years.
e.One turkey producer appointed by the Iowa turkey federation who shall serve an initial term o
