The court shall issue letters of appointment to a guardian upon the guardian’s acceptance
of appointment and the guardian’s subscription of an oath, or certification under penalties
of perjury, that the guardian will faithfully discharge the duties imposed by law, according to
the best of the guardian’s ability.
