Text
Unless a committed private patient or those legally responsible for the patient’s support
offertosettletheamountoftheclaims,thedepartmentshallcollect,byactionifnecessary,the
amount of all claims for per diem and expenses that have been approved by an administrative
services organization and paid by the administrative services organization. Any amount
collected shall be credited to the behavioral health fund established in section 225A.7.
