Text
1.The state psychiatric hospital is established. The hospital shall be especially designed,
kept, and administered for the care, observation, and treatment of those persons who are
afflicted with abnormal mental conditions.
2.For the purposes of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
a.“Administrative services organization” means the same as defined in section 225A.1.
b.“Department” means the department of health and human services.
c.“Respondent” means the same as defined in section 229.1.
