Text
If it is determined through the financial condition investigation made pursuant to section
225.13 that a person is a committed or voluntary private patient, the person or those legally
responsible for the person’s support are liable for expenses as provided in section 225.22.
The costs of a committed or voluntary public patient shall be paid by the state as provided in
section 225.28.
