Text
1. a. The department shall establish one or more advisory boards. Each of the county boards of supervisors shall appoint two advisory board members. All of the following requirements apply to the appointments made by a county board of supervisors:
(1)The membership shall be appointed in accordance with section 4A.12, relating to
political affiliation.
(2)Not more than one of the members shall be a member of the board of supervisors.
(3)Appointments shall be made on the basis of interest in maintaining and improving
service delivery.
b. Appointments shall be made a part of the regular proceedings of the board of
supervisors and shall be filed with the county auditor and the department. A vacancy on the
board shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.
