Text
For each commercial weighing and measuring device licensed, the department shall issue
an inspection sticker, which shall not exceed two inches by two inches in size. The inspection
stickershallbedisplayedprominentlyonthefrontofthecommercialweighingandmeasuring
device and the defacing or wrongful removal of the sticker shall be punished as provided in
chapter 189. Absence of an inspection sticker is prima facie evidence that the commercial
weighing and measuring device is being operated contrary to law.
