Text
The secretary may issue and enforce a written or printed “stop sale, use or removal” order
to the owner or custodian of any lot of commercial fertilizer or beneficial substance, if the
secretary finds the commercial fertilizer or beneficial substance is being offered or exposed
for sale in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter including any rule adopted under
this chapter. The secretary may hold the commercial fertilizer or beneficial substance at
a designated place until the law has been complied with and the commercial fertilizer or
beneficialsubstanceisreleasedinwritingbythesecretary,ortheviolationhasbeenotherwise
legally disposed of by written authority, and all costs and expenses incurred in connection
with the withdrawal have been paid.
