Text
Upon receipt of a petition signed by at least five hundred producers requesting an initial
referendum election to determine whether a promotional order shall be placed in effect, the
secretary shall call an initial referendum election to be conducted within sixty days following
receipt of the petition. Producers shall vote by written ballot in the manner provided by this
chapter for referendum elections.
