Text
1.The slap tattoo or other means of identification required by section 163.36 shall be in
accordance with regulations of the department.
2.Each person required by section 163.36 to identify animals shall record such
identification on forms specified and furnished by the department. The identification shall
include the tattoo specifications, the date of application, and the name, address and county of
residence of the person who owned or controlled the herd from which the animals originated.
3.Such records shall be maintained for a length of time as required by and pursuant to
chapter 8A, subchapter VI, and at the point of concentration and shall be made available for
inspection by the department at reasonable times.
