To be eligible to take the examination for a funeral director’s license, a person must have completed two academic years of instruction in a recognized college or university in a course ofstudyapprovedbytheboardorhaveequivalenteducationasdefinedbytheboardandhave satisfactorily completed a course of instruction in mortuary science in an accredited school approved by the board.
