Text
A protest petition filed in one political subdivision shall have no effect upon the other
political subdivisions of the proposed merged area; and in the portion of the proposed
area where no protest petition is filed within sixty days after the last published notice, the
residents of that portion of the area shall be deemed to have approved the proposed plan,
and shall not take part in any special election.
