Text

The sheriff, sheriff deputy, constable, marshal, or other individual certified by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council shall be a competent officer to administer the oath to the person in possession if he desires to tender the counteraffidavit provided for in Code Section 44-11-30 .
