Text

Any person convicted of a misdemeanor under this chapter shall be subject to any one or more of the following, in the discretion of the trial judge:

(1)A fine of not less than $100.00 nor more than $1,000.00;
(2)A sentence of confinement in the county jail or other place of imprisonment for a period not to exceed six months; or (3) A sentence of confinement in a county correctional institution or other appropriate institution under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections not to exceed 12 months.
