Text
It is the intent of the Legislature to eliminate duplication of regulation over commercial feed and feedstuff. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the authority to regulate, inspect, sample, and analyze any commercial feed or feedstuff distributed in this state 1 and to exercise the powers and duties 2 of regulation in this chapter, including the power to assess any penalties provided for violation of this chapter, is preempted to the department.
