Text
(1)Any person is qualified for registration as a specialist in any specialty practice within the practice of cosmetology under this chapter who:
(a)Is at least 16 years of age or has received a high school diploma.
(b)Has received a certificate of completion for: 1. One hundred and eighty hours of training, as established by the board, which shall focus primarily on sanitation and safety, to practice specialties as defined in s. 477.013(6)(a) and (b); 2. Two hundred and twenty hours of training, as established by the board, which shall focus primarily on sanitation and safety, to practice the specialty as defined in s. 477.013(6)(c); or 3. Four hundred hours of training or the number of hours of training required to maintain minimum Pell Grant requirements, as established by the board,
