Indians living in camps settled prior to the passage of ss. 285.07-285.13 within the boundaries of the flood control project shall be permitted to continue to live in such campsites. When any such campsite is threatened with floodwaters as a result of the building of the flood control project, the trustee shall cause such campsites to be relocated to a level above dangers resulting from said floodwaters or shall otherwise protect such campsites from said floodwaters.
