Text
The Commissioner of Transportation shall develop guidelines for the design and construction of roads and streets in residential subdivisions. Such guidelines shall be based upon considerations of safety, maintenance and cost effectiveness and shall be distributed to municipal planning agencies and regional councils of governments throughout the state who may use such standards in the adoption of municipal subdivision regulations.
