§ 13b-10c — Recruitment and compensation for summer worker professional engineer job classification.
(a)The Commissioner of Administrative Services shall recruit interns for the summer worker professional engineer job classification for the Department of Transportation when requested by the Commissioner of Transportation. The commissioners shall promote any such recruitment at public and independent institutions of higher education.
(b)On and after July 1, 2023, and annually thereafter, the Commissioner of Administrative Services shall increase the rate of compensation for the summer worker professional engineer job classification by the percentage increase, if any, in the national consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers for the previous twelve-month period.
