Text

As required by section 18 of article X of the state constitution, the proceeds of any fee or surcharge imposed pursuant to the provisions of this part 8 that is a license fee, registration fee, or other charge with respect to the operation of any vehicle upon any public highway in this state shall be used exclusively for the construction, maintenance, and supervision of the public highways of this state as specified in this part 8.
