Text

At the request of the executive director or in his or her absence or disability, the deputy director of the department shall perform all of the duties of the executive director, and, when so acting, the deputy director shall have all the powers of and be subject to all of the restrictions imposed upon the executive director. In addition, the deputy director shall perform such other duties as may from time to time be assigned to him or her by the executive director.
