§ 43-3-214 — Succession of powers and duties
It is the intention of this section
that the powers conferred and the duties imposed on the department of
transportation by this part 2 shall be exercised and performed by any corporation,
commission, or department succeeding to the powers and duties of the department
of transportation as now constituted and as extended by the provisions of this part
2.
