§ 43-3-201 — Legislative declaration

Colorado·Title 43 Transportation·Art. Special Highway Construction
The development and improvement of the public highways and roads within the state of Colorado being essential to the well-being and prosperity of the state and the inhabitants thereof, it is declared to be the policy and purpose of the general assembly to provide for such development and improvement by conferring additional powers on the department of transportation as a body corporate under the laws of the state of Colorado.
