Text
Whenever any city, city
and county, or incorporated town undertakes the construction of any street project
which involves the expenditure of state funds and federal funds, it is the duty of the
department of transportation to inspect such projects at such times as the
department of transportation deems necessary for the purposes of determining
whether such projects are being built to the recommended standards.
