§ 43-2-125 — Adoption of street systems - reports

(1)The arterial streets and local service streets in any town, city, or city and county shall constitute its city street system. The system of arterial streets shall be selected in the following manner:
(a)On or before December 31, 1953, the city council, local governing body, or designated officer of each incorporated town, city, or city and county shall determine the total mileage of its city street system, and prepare a certification showing the amount of total mileage.
(b)The city council, local governing body, or designated officer of each municipality shall then cause a map to be prepared showing each street in the city arterial system and designating each street by appropriate number for the purpose of identification and shall cause notice of intention to adopt said ma
