Text
As used in this part 5, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)Automobile graveyard means any establishment or place of business
which is maintained, used, or operated for storing, keeping, buying, or selling
wrecked, scrapped, ruined, or dismantled motor vehicles or motor vehicle parts.
(2)Department means the department of transportation.
(3)Highway means the federal-aid primary and interstate systems, as
defined in section 43-2-101.
(4)Junk means old or scrap copper, brass, rope, rags, batteries, paper,
trash, rubber debris, waste, or junked, dismantled, or wrecked automobiles,
appliances, or parts thereof, iron, steel, and other old or scrap ferrous or nonferrous
material.
(5)Junkyard means an establishment or place of business which is
maintained, operated, or use
