Text

(1)The members of the Colorado beef board who are in office on July 1, 1993, shall comprise the original board of the beef council authority, and their initial terms on the beef council authority shall end at the same time as the terms to which they were appointed on the Colorado beef board prior to July 1, 1993.
(2)On the expiration of the term of a member of the board, that member's successor shall be appointed by the governor for a term of four years; except that, in case of a vacancy, the governor shall appoint a person who shall serve for the unexpired term.
