§ 35-50-102 — Legislative declaration
The general assembly finds and
declares that the diagnosis, control, and eradication of livestock diseases are
matters of statewide concern. Livestock disease control is essential to the livestock
industry and the health of the economy of the state of Colorado. The provisions of
this article are enacted to protect the public health, safety, and welfare.
