§ 35-5-106 — County pest inspector, deputies, and employees
The board of
county commissioners of a county concerned may appoint a qualified person,
subject to the approval of the commissioner and district advisory committee, as
county pest inspector. The inspector shall carry out the inspector's duties as
provided in this article 5 under the direction of the board and the commissioner. The
inspector, with the approval of the board, may employ such deputies and
employees as are necessary to perform the inspector's duties under this article 5.
The board shall determine the salaries of the inspector and of the inspector's
deputies and employees.
