§ 35-21-209 — Effects on other animal welfare laws
This part 2 does not limit
or replace any other state statute or rule that protects the welfare of animals. This
part 2 does not preempt a local governing body from adopting and enforcing its
own animal welfare ordinance, rule, resolution, or charter provision that is more
stringent than this part 2.
