Text
In order
to carry out and effectuate its purposes, every district is authorized to enter upon
and use and connect with any existing public drains, sewers, conduits, pipe lines,
pumping and ventilating stations, and treatment plants or works, or any other
public property of a similar nature within the district, and, if deemed necessary by
the district, close off and seal outlets and outfalls therefrom. No district shall, in
the absence of a contract so authorizing take permanent possession or make
permanent use of any such treatment plant or works unless it acquires the same as
provided in this part 5.
