§ 32-4-402 — Definitions

Colorado·Title 32 Special·Art. Water and Sanitation Districts

As used in this part 4, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)District means a metropolitan water district organized under this part 4 either as originally organized or as changed from time to time. (1.5) Eligible elector has the meaning specified in section 32-1-103 (5).
(2)Governing body means the city council of a city, the board of trustees of an incorporated town, or the board of directors of a water and sanitation district, or any organization by law authorized to obligate itself for the purposes contemplated by this part 4.
(3)Municipality means city, incorporated town, or water or water and sanitation districts; but in no event shall the word municipality include or refer to a city with a population in excess of three hundred thousand. The population of municipal
