Text
(1)A district created
pursuant to section 32-13-108 shall be governed by a board of directors which shall
be appointed by the board of county commissioners. A director appointed pursuant
to this subsection (1) shall be appointed to serve a term of three years, but no
director shall serve more than two succeeding terms. Any such director may be
removed at any time during his term by the appointing authority.
(2)The board shall have the following powers and duties:
(a)To fix the time and place at which its regular meetings shall be held.
Meetings shall be held within the district and shall be open to the public.
(b)To adopt and amend rules of procedure;
(c)To select a chairman;
(d)To hire such staff as may be necessary to assist the board in its duties;
